Terms & Conditions

  1. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Please note that our cancellation policy is strict. For this reason we strongly urge you to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

    If you cancel:

You must inform us in writing if you wish to cancel your holiday.
    i) Cancellation up to 7 days after booking: Full refund
ii) Cancellation 8+ days after booking: Loss of deposit (with option to transfer)
iii) Cancellation 90 days or less before departure: Forfeit of 100% of cost of services booked

N.B.: If you have to cancel within 7 days of the initial booking, there is no cancellation fee. Use this time to reserve a spot and sort out logistics, plane tickets, group plans, etc without worries of someone else taking your spot.

N.B.: There is a transfer fee of £50 per person when transferring deposits.

    If we cancel:

Once you have received a confirmed reservation from us, we endeavor to never cancel a trip. However, although highly unlikely, we must reserve the right to cancel any trip.

When a tour is cancelled by the Company, the Client may choose between a full refund of all monies paid or any alternative tour offered by the Company. The limit of the company's liability to the customer is the return of all monies paid. If the alternative trip chosen is of a lower value than that originally booked, then the Client is entitled to a refund of the price difference. If the Client is offered a refund but requests an alternative tour of a higher value than that originally booked, then the Client must pay the difference in price.

    Changing your Holiday

If you wish to alter your holiday, we will do our best to accommodate your requirements depending on availability. An administration fee of £25 per booking is payable for alterations. If your changes involve upgraded accommodation, you will be asked to pay the additional cost. In the event of a 'no show' by the client The Legendary Welsh Adventure Co. do not give refunds, or offer an alternative date.

N.B. Because we pack each day with as much adventure as possible, it is very important that we follow departure schedules. Out of respect for those on time, there is a 20-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 20-minutes, the tour guide reserves the right to depart. The Legendary Welsh Adventure Co. is not responsible for any costs incurred in re-joining the tour; nor will any refund be offered for missed activities and/or subsequent tour days.

  2. PAYMENT TERMS

At the time of booking, a 7-day refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour price (including extras) per person per tour is due. The grace period is offered as an opportunity to work out logistics, plane tickets, group plans, etc, or even if you just changed your mind.

Upon receiving the correct deposit, and the completed booking form The Legendary Welsh Adventure Co. will send you a Confirmation Of Booking detailing the tour, dates and numbers booked and setting out the final balance due and date of payment. To ensure a full tour and prevent anyone from being turned away, the remainder balance is due 90 days before the tour departure date. If full payment is not received by the due date, then rates and tour space cannot be guaranteed. If a booking is made 90 days or less prior to departure, full payment is payable at the time of booking. In the event of failure to make this payment by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
