For a feeling of sheer exhilaration there isn't much that can compare to Mountain Biking, because on land, it doesn't get much crazier than hurtling down a forest or mountain trail on 2 wheels and a pint of courage. Only recently, Wales has become accredited as a mountain bike mecca, although its mountain biking bones have been there all along. Thankfully, with funding from the forestry commission, Wales is now home to some of the best biking in the world including Afan Forest Park, recently voted in the top 10 trails of the world by 'Mountain Bike Rider' magazine. And hey, if you're worried about that overwhelming pressure of finding the best trail in the best conditions on which day and which area, take ease knowing that's our job. You just concentrate on the riding.

Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre was the first specialist centre to be created by the Forestry Commission for Wales, and is now regarded as a Mecca for the sport. The centre has a huge range of hand built single track suitable for everybody from beginner to professional. The trails range from tight and technical to fast, open flowing sections. Situated in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, the views around you, as you wind through forests and by rivers, will paint a smile on your face and even make the most dedicated mountain biker stop and take notice.

Afan Forest Park – South WalesVoted in the world's top 10 along with Chamonix and Kathmandu! This centre has a mountain bike experience second to none. It has more all weather single track than any other Mountain Bike Wales centre and its variety of technical and flowing trails through forest and rocky wide open hills will provide a challenge for any Mountain biking enthusiast.

Sitting high in the mountains at Bwlch Nant yr Arian, the centre offers high quality wilderness riding. Expect everything form mountain climbs and technical descents to fast flowing sections and the odd river crossing. Leave your troubles behind as you embark into the epic scenery of bwlch Nant yr Arian with the Cambrian Mountains as your back drop.

Deep valleys cut through the area, with steep slopes carpeted by ancient forests. One of the newest centers on the Welsh mountain biking map where all trails wind through and offer great views of Brechfa Forest alongside manmade single track, making sure your full artillery of skills are tested to the fullest.

To some it is the spiritual home of mountain biking in the UK. An outstandingly wild and beautiful area with a natural trail network that takes you through forests, open countryside and the surrounding valleys. There are some wonderful descents and drops, challenging ascents and a variety of trails to suit all abilities and fitness levels. A truly wonderful and all–encompassing mountain biking experience.
